Dorel Juvenile
Challenge
Dorel Juvenile Europe (DJE) wanted to better manage financial planning and reporting across its subsidiaries located in various countries in Europe.
They were looking for a solution to support standardisation, minimise any tax compliance risks across their territories and ensure their finance software was robust enough to support the company’s continued evolution.
Solution
We developed and implemented standardised models and implemented a Jedox system to streamline the calculation of intercompany transactions based on future sales and related reporting. Insight Models supported the integration of intercompany cost allocations with full financial statement planning at both individual country/subsidiary level and at consolidated group level.
Result
- More efficient planning and forecasting procedures, saving time for strategic analysis
- The ability to scenario-plan for the impact of future global or market events, building in adaptability for the business
- Quick calculation of currency exchange fluctuations
- Strengthened stakeholder relationships with more efficient submission and reporting to stakeholders
“We’re pleased to see the growing adaptation and reliance on the implemented system. We look forward to continuing, supporting and advising this customer through their FP&A digitalisation journey.”
